Today, you will be departing from Johannesburg and flying to Hoedspruit. Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be greeted and transported to Baobab Ridge in the Klaserie Reserve. You will check in for a three-night stay on a full-board basis, which includes game drives and guided walks.
Located in the secluded Klaserie Reserve, this lodge provides an opportunity to explore the captivating Big Five country. Klaserie Reserve shares an unfenced border with the renowned Kruger National Park and other prestigious private reserves, ensuring regular sightings of lions, elephants, buffalos, rhinos, and leopards. Accompanied by knowledgeable guides, you will have the chance to embark on walking safaris and 4X4 drives during the day and in the late afternoon, in search of these magnificent creatures. Baobab Ridge offers its guests a high-quality, comfortable, authentic, and reasonably priced wilderness experience. With only seven private suites, this small and intimate lodge can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests.
Have a road transfer to Arathusa Safari Lodge in the exclusive Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Enjoy 3 nights in waterhole-facing chalets on a full-board basis with game drives and guided walks. The Sabi Sand Reserve, located just a 2.5-hour drive away, is renowned for its exceptional Big Five game viewing, including sought-after animals such as wild dog and cheetah. Throughout your stay, the friendly and helpful staff at Arathusa Safari Lodge will be your hosts, providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The lodge offers various amenities, including a swimming pool, spa, and gym. Activities include two drives per day, as well as spot-lit night drives and short guided walks.
Today, you will transfer back to Hoedspruit and then proceed to Cape Town by air. Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be transferred by road to the Winchester Mansions, located near the V&A Waterfront, where you will be accommodated for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis.
Winchester Mansions, an iconic seafront hotel in Cape Town, is situated along the picturesque Sea Point Promenade, offering breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the majestic Table Mountain. The hotel proudly showcases its original Cape Dutch architecture and is renowned for its popularity among both local and international guests. Its prime location allows for easy access to the beautiful promenade and the convenient hop-on, hop-off bus service, which stops at all the major attractions in and around Cape Town, including Kirstenbosch Gardens and Camps Bay beach.
As part of your Cape Town itinerary, you will also enjoy a guided nature tour of the peninsula, which will encompass visits to see penguins, Cape Point, and a variety of wildlife. This tour will also provide you with the opportunity to witness the region's stunning flora and enjoy breathtaking views.
