Have Breakfast, you shall drive northeast to the town of Musanze close to the Virunga Volcano range. You will have lunch en route or at the lodge depending on time. In the evening, you will embark on the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village which gives you a rare chance to meet local people, in their environment, with a taste of the culture and traditions. Be genuinely welcomed by the community as a special visitor while they proudly present to you aspects of their traditions and beliefs. You will have a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight at Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge.

After having breakfast and preparing your packed lunch, proceed to the park headquarters where you will receive a briefing from the park ranger guides. This briefing is essential as it will prepare you for the Gorilla trekking activity. The trek itself can be quite demanding, lasting up to four hours or even longer, as you navigate through steep slopes and dense vegetation shrouded in mist. However, this arduous journey will ultimately lead you to the presence of one of the most highly sought-after creatures in the world - the mountain Gorillas. Once you reach the Gorillas, you will be granted a precious hour to observe and study their behavior, all while capturing photographs to commemorate this extraordinary encounter. Following this unforgettable experience, you will enjoy a delightful dinner and spend the night at the esteemed Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge.
After having breakfast to south of Queen Elizabeth national park in the famous Ishasha sector which is the home of tree climbing Lions! Once in Ishasha, you will have lunch at the lodge and later embark on the game drive that will give you a chance to see tree climbing lions in Ishasha. On a lucky day, you will be amazed to see them resting on the branches of fig trees during afternoon hours this together with other wild animals and amazing vegetation cover and landscapes. Other animals to see include Warthogs, Topi Antelopes, African Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Cape Buffalo and many tropical birds. Dinner and overnight Topi Lodge.
After enjoying breakfast, guests are encouraged to check out with a packed lunch, as there is an opportunity for another morning game drive to potentially spot the elusive tree climbing lions that may have been missed during the previous evening. Lunch will be provided either during the journey or at the lodge, depending on the time. In the afternoon, a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel will be arranged, allowing guests to witness the impressive presence of elephants, hippos, buffalos, and crocodiles. Additionally, various bird species, including the rare shoe bill, can be observed. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at the esteemed Elephant Hat Lodge.
Have an early morning breakfast and head to the gorge for Chimpanzee trekking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. The stunning Kyambura (Gorge also called the “Valley of Apes” The landscape is among the most impressive you will find in Uganda and it is swarmed a rich wildlife bio-diversity that comprises of primates, wild animals as well as birds. After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later you will have crater drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The craters here are the most scenic park stretching for 27km but the crater drive is less done. The explosion crater lakes from Kikorongo to Katwe shade the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive-in is on a ridge with a high point of 1350m ASL. The drive offers views of Lake George at the start of the climb, vegetation-filled craters, and others filled with water to form lakes Dinner and overnight at Elephant Hab Lodge.
Commence your day with an early morning breakfast and proceed to Kalinzu Central Forest Reserve for an exhilarating Chimpanzee trekking experience, where you will have the opportunity to encounter man's closest relatives in their natural habitat. Observe in awe as these primates engage in playful activities, swing from tree branches, and compete for sustenance. The Forest Reserve boasts an impressive array of natural wonders, including over 414 tree species, six distinct primate species, such as chimpanzees, blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and red-tailed monkeys, as well as approximately 380 bird species, reptiles, and butterflies. Chimpanzee trekking is a prominent attraction in Kalinzu Forest, and for good reason. These fascinating creatures share 98% of their DNA with humans, making them a captivating subject of study. Following your trek, enjoy a delectable lunch en route as you journey to Lake Mburo National Park, where you will spend the night at the esteemed Mpogo Lodge.
After partaking in an early morning meal, embark on a morning safari stroll within the confines of Lake Mburo National Park. This renowned park offers the opportunity to explore its surroundings on foot, allowing for the observation of Ankole community's long-horned cattle, which coexist harmoniously with zebras, impalas, giraffes, warthogs, elands, Cape buffalos, and a plethora of tropical avian species. Subsequently, you will proceed to survey the park before commencing a journey to Entebbe International Airport, contingent upon the timing of your prearranged flight.
