Tour Plan
You will be collected from your accommodation in Kigali and transported for a guided tour of the city, during which you will have the opportunity to visit the Genocide memorial site, which provides a concise overview of the history of the country you are visiting. Additionally, you will have the chance to explore the Dian Fossey Center. Lunch will be provided en route, and following this, you will have the opportunity to visit the community cultural Village, where you can immerse yourself in Rwandan culture, including traditional dance performances. Iby’iwacu Cultural Village is a Non-Profit organization that operates under the umbrella of improving the lives of reformed poachers and communities residing around Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. This is achieved through the provision of conservation incentives, support for community enterprise development, and the implementation of livelihood-based projects. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at the esteemed Garden Palace Hotel.
Following breakfast, participants are required to convene at the park headquarters for a morning briefing. It is imperative that attendees come equipped with their trekking gear and an ample supply of drinking water. Subsequently, the group will embark on a forest ascent to engage in a captivating Gorilla trekking experience. Renowned for its exceptional primate safaris, Volcanoes National Park offers tourists the opportunity to witness a diverse array of primate species. Within the confines of Volcanoes National Park, there exist twelve fully habituated gorilla families, with a select few additionally habituated for scientific research purposes. Each family, or troop, is comprised of at least one dominant silverback, accompanied by numerous females and their offspring. These families are identified as Susa, Igisha, Karisimbi, Sabyinyo, Amahoro, Agashya, Kwitonda, Umubano, Hirwa, Bwenge, Ugyenda, and Muhoza. Upon completion of the Gorilla tracking expedition, participants will indulge in a delectable dinner and spend the night at the esteemed Garden Palace Hotel.

Subsequently, you shall embark upon an ascent into the forest, with the objective of tracking the elusive golden monkeys. Engaging in this golden monkey trekking endeavor shall afford you the opportunity to acquire intriguing knowledge pertaining to these captivating creatures, thereby enhancing the allure of your Rwandan expedition. Upon conclusion of this activity, we shall proceed to return to Kigali, where you shall commence your nocturnal departure flight, thus concluding your sojourn in Rwanda.
