Tour Plan

The Zambezi River is the fourth-longest in Africa, the longest east-flowing river on the continent, and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa. Its drainage basin covers 1,390,000 km², which is slightly less than half of the Nile's. The river spans 2,574 kilometers, rising in Zambia and flowing through eastern Angola, along the north-eastern border of Namibia and the northern border of Botswana, then along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe to Mozambique, where it empties into the Indian Ocean.

We will depart  at 6:00am for a full-day game drive in Hwange National Park. The journey from Victoria Falls to Hwange National Park takes 2 hours. The game drive will commence at 9:00am and conclude at 5:00pm. Lunch will be provided within the park as it boasts numerous picturesque picnic areas. Hwange National Park, the largest and most renowned park in Zimbabwe, offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, encompassing the Big Five and a multitude of other safari animals. Hwange is particularly renowned for its remarkable concentration of elephants, which are drawn to the park's waterholes during the dry season.

Experience an early morning game drive followed by a visit to Victoria Falls, also known as Mosi-oa-Tunya, or “the smoke that thunders.” Discovered by British explorer David Livingstone in 1855 and named after his queen, Victoria Falls is not the widest or tallest waterfall in the world, but it is undoubtedly the most impressive. Its mile-wide span drops twice the height of Niagara Falls into a narrow gorge, creating a continuous sheet of water that forces mist to rise high into the sky. The power of the falls can be felt, heard (from a mile away), smelled, and tasted, leaving visitors in awe.
